According to my old records write to Authentication Officer, Dept of State, Washington, DC, 20520. Include identifying info; full name of chold, do & place, parents name, and the consular office which recorded the birth.

I was part of V Corp Headquarters Company from 1964-1965. Frankfurt was a great place to be.

I am Mel Kennon. I was a 36H and lived on the 5th floor from 1980-1982. Best time of my life. My sites were Hoechst, Echborn and Rodelheim. I really miss Art Wilson, had I really listened you would be here today. Vietnam really screwed with your head. All the way old friend.

I was there from 1980 to 85 in the Command Flt Platoon

My son was born here in 1962. The hospital did not give birth certificates. I had to go to the German Registrar Office to get my son's birth certificate. It was all in German (deutche). I took the BC to the American Embassy in Frankfurt and was informed that that was his birth certificate. I could have an English translation to accompany his BD but that was it and it's that way even today.

This was my barracks briefly in 77-78 until they moved us up the street near Mess Hall 2.

There used to be more buildings here. This was the 21st Replacement BN. I worked across the street at the Mess Hall from 77-80.
